UW–Madison is piloting the Free Food Alert system from September 1st, 2023 – December 31st, 2023 and is making the technology available to all university staff, faculty, and students.
Resources for Hosts and Event Caterers
The Free Food Alert system enables event hosts and caterers on campus the ability to send out alerts for free food giveaways. To use the system, hosts/caterers should sign up and then complete the Giveaway Host Training. Once an application is reviewed and approved by a university Free Food Alert administrator, hosts/caterers will be able to send out free food alerts to all subscribers at the end of the event.
