Our teams provides customized guidance to help departments and organizers reduce their environmental impact, increase efficiency, and meet the university’s sustainability goals. Green Office Certification Program
The Green Office certification program helps campus offices of any size to become a more sustainable workplace. The certification process focuses on three main topics: waste management & recycling, energy & water, and purchasing & community engagement.
Green Events Certification Program
The Green Events certification program provides guidance and resources to improve the sustainability of events on the UW-Madison campus. The Green Event certification focuses on the following 6 categories: transportation, materials, venue, communication, food, & waste.
Green Labs Certification Program
The My Green Lab® certification program offers researchers opportunities to address sustainability challenges while upholding laboratory standards. The program covers 12 topics in laboratory settings including waste management, water use, and energy efficiency.
