Salvador Grover

Salvador is a Project Assistant in the OS where he assists with data analysis and visualization. He is a current M.S. student in the Agroecology program and conducts research in the Freedman lab where he studies the changes to soil health from the growth of sustainable biomass crops on previously mined soils in the Appalachia region. He received a B.S. in Environmental Science and Management at the University of California, Davis. After graduating he hopes to work in the field of data science so that he may contribute to creating a more sustainable world through data driven decisions. He is also a part of the leadership team of the UW Madison chapter of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Relates Sciences (MANRRS) which works to provide minority students with the opportunities to network, explore career opportunities, and enhance professional development skills. His hobbies include powerlifting, cooking, and hiking.
