Lauren Graves

As the Sustainability Communications and Engagement Manager, Lauren helps advance the Office of Sustainability’s mission by informing, engaging, and connecting audiences across print and digital platforms. She works alongside the Associate Director and communications team to manage the office’s social media, newsletter, podcast marketing, graphic design, and website. 

Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Sustainability and Global Environment from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where she co-authored the university’s first climate action plan, assisted with greenhouse gas emissions inventories, and researched sustainable waste behavior. Prior to joining the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Lauren held several positions in environmental education and strategic communications at the Aldo Leopold Foundation and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys indulging her passions for stove-top popcorn, nature walks, cooking, and (newly) the Milwaukee Brewers.
