Maya is a senior majoring in Environmental Sciences and German and earning a certificate in Sustainability. She serves as the Student Engagement Liaison for the Office of Sustainability, in which she works to connect students to the Office and helps to create a culture of transparency and collaboration among the two. She has also served as the Logistics Executive for CLEAN (Campus Leaders for Energy Action Now), a student organization dedicated to getting UW–Madison to commit to 100% renewable energy by 2035. Her newest responsibility is being the Outreach Manager for the Associated Students of Madison Sustainability Committee, a position she is very much looking forward to. She has also served as a member of the Student Sustainability Advisory Committee, the Green Fund Review Committee, and various student sustainability student organizations. In her free time, she loves going to the gym, spending time with friends, and being outdoors!
