The official grand opening of the University Bicycle Resource Center is Thursday, September 27, 2012, from 6-9:00 p.m. Come down to the basement of Helen C. White Library to check out this new resource to students. The grand opening includes free snacks, bike maintenance tips, a tour of the facility, and an optional guided tour of the bicycle facilities on campus. Bring your bike, a helmet, and a bike light for the optional tour around campus.
Come in during the semester to check out the numerous free offers the Bicycle Resource Center provides, including:
- Free use of tools, air pump and grease, lube and other supplies as available
- Bicycle repair manuals
- Bicycle maps
- Bicycle registration assistance
- Alternative transportation expertise of our student employees
- Monthly bicycling events including rides, classes, movies and more. Check this space for details as they become available
