Shirley Obih is a graduate student in Civil and Environmental Engineering, simultaneously pursuing a Certificate in Energy Analysis and Policy. She believes her joint pursuit of higher-level education in engineering and energy will equip her with the skills needed to collaborate with industry professionals to explore the depths of renewable energy sources and create a healthier planet for us all.
For the Office of Sustainability, she works as a Graduate Lab Efficiency Analyst to analyze the impact of the Biological Safety Cabinet replacement program in the areas of energy efficiency, safety, and ergonomics. In her free time, she loves to pen her musings on Instagram, draw portraits, walk around downtown Madison, and catch up on her favorite TV shows.
