Elizabeth Anderson

Position title: At-Large Graduate Student Representative

I am Elizabeth Anderson, a first-year PhD student in Agricultural & Applied Economics focusing on Natural Resources & Environment. I am the ASM graduate representative on the Shared Governance Sustainability Subcommittee. I hold a Master of International Affairs with a concentration in energy development from Columbia SIPA, where I served as Treasurer of the Student Association, and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where I served as chair of the Student Sustainability Task Force and president of EcoLogic. As part of an independent study, I authored a sustainability audit of RPI based on STARS criteria. I have also held a LEED Green Associate credential since 2014 and have five legislative sessions of experience in the New York State Assembly as a budget analyst for energy and environment.
